  1. Hi Everyone, We have an Arctic Spa salt water tub and last week the chlorinator stopped working. The service guy said that the electrodes were touching, yada yada yada, he fixed it, cranked it up and off he went. Well, since he dialed it way up, the chlorine spiked so we turned the dial down to zero and waited for the chlorine to return to usable levels. Sure enough, the chlorine dissapated. However, now that we have turned up the dial we are noticing that no chlorine is being generated at all now. We have the dial half way up the range and even after 2 days we have no measurable chlorine. We do see bubbles from the chlorinator though. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks...Tom
  2. Hi Everyone, We have been lurking here for a while but it is time to jump into the water (so to speak) feet first. We recently bought an Arctic Kodiak and absolutley love it. Getting a hot tub was one of the best things we ever did. We are having troubles though regulating our ph. We take samples to our Arctic dealer and the ph is always high and the chlorine seems low (just so you are aware, the last Arctic test was last week and we have added chems since then). We are running a salt water system and we are trying to test with the test strips (and they are a nightmare on their own, they all come with different ways to read them and they are vague at best). We are tyring to control the ph with ph minus but it does seem like we are fighting to get it down. Any suggestions? Thanks...Bubbling Away...Dash
