  1. It has an extra cost for 1 ft. of ground water. Not sure if it multiplies with each additional ft. Everyone around us has water in their basements. When it rains considerably we have tiny lakes in our backyard. Installer asked "when we dig a ft. down does the hole have water in it?" Is that a silly question? What does 1ft down have to do with 10-12 ft down? We don't live on a beach. 1 ft down there is no water. The install is supposed to be warranted for 20 years. Underground pump included. Not sure about cost of water to fill. Where does the water come from? A water truck or our faucet? No heater. She decided to go with the Salt system. I hate to be the pessimistic one about this, but it is a huge purchase. She just went into the showroom and came out with a pool contract. I don't like to operate that way. Salesman is a Salesman. There job is to make money.
  2. My mother is 800 miles away from here. She's been to the pool shop and has drawn up a contract for an inground pool. My main concern is the contract details. Neither of us have experience with ingrounds. Does anyone know of a link from this website that I could look over to help us for any of the unknowns. We have a very high water table. Basement has an over worked sub pump working to rid it of water. That is one major concern. PB says it's not a problem. Hopefully someone can link us up. Thanks GA and NJ (mother)
