  1. I have the grand bahama w/ 52 jets and 2 pumps and am absolutely pleased. Only owned it for about 2 months but use it quite alot. Hot springs dealer was not close enuff to be considered. Looked at others but decided because the dealer seemed most knowledgeable and not the least bit of a sleaze ball like some others.
  2. check out the artesian platinum series. I wet tested one and was very impressed but my budget was in the island series. I purchased the grand bahama (which has diverters) and I am very satisfied with the performance and the flexibility of all the seats. Plenty of power and comfort. good luck with whatever you choose.
  3. Thanks for the informative post. I was at a fair last night and was skeptical when walking up to the SUNDANCE sales cretin. I didn't have to worry about his lying because I turned and walked away when he actually said "If you are not smart enough to see that Sundance is the best spa made, then go buy something else" GEE, insult me first and then I'll write that check to buy your spa. what rock do they find these people under. it's a shame but it seems that there is a portion of this industry that deserves the horrible reputation.
  4. Seems like a nice sizeable tub. comfortable when sitting in, empty though. 2 pumps, 3 year warranty. Dealer asking for somewhere $4500-$4800. any thoughts on if it is a good deal? anyone have opinion or experience (without digressing into steel vs. wood) salesman said steps, lifter, delivery and chemicals included but I will get that in writing.
  5. No wet test yet. best deal and nicest dealer/tech was a hydrospa dealer so far. locally, I have sundance (and all their brands), vita, master, coleman, hydrospa and marquis. d1 and hot spring are a about 35 mi. away
  6. do spas follow the same pattern as other big ticket items and go on a "year end" close out. I live in the Mid-Atlantic states and will eventually buy a spa. I am not brand prejudiced and have no time table but I know that my purchasing power for a new car is much higher when dealers are trying to reduce their stock when the models turn over. any insight is appreciated.
