We bought a flat screen tv for our patio when we got out tub last year. We have it up near the cealing but set just right so we can see it when were soaking. The patio is screened in so it keeps some of the snow out and the tv is high enough not to get wet. It has been out all last winter with no protection over it and it still works fine. Just my 2 cents.

Which Hot Springs spa do you have?

Try to look at the Hot Springs spas, they have smaller tubs that are really nice. We purchased a mid sizes tub for 4-5 people and only spent a little over 6,000 with ozone, steps, cover, chemicals and a great warranty. We love it. Good luck.

Must I shock my tub weekly even if I don't use it for 2-3 weeks. It's been hot here and we have not soaked lately. Water is clear, ph/alk are good. What do you suggest? Shock now or just before we start using it again? Thanks everyone.

sfoanna, Don't give up! It will be all worth it in the end. We have a Hot Springs Prodigy hot tub, and we just can't say enough good things about it. You have a good tub, work with it, and you will be soaking before you know it. Perhaps you can call a Hot Springs dealer near you and ask for advice, I'm sure they will be glad to help a prospective customer. BARRYRAY gave you some good pointers.
