hi everyone, I live outside of Playa del Carmen...building a new home where we intent to put a hot tub on the roof outside of our bedroom suite...The only two authorized dealers ...both are new businesses here... Jacuzzi and Caldera...We gave up on the mexican variety...low end and about 4 jets..they put air holes into the body and call it a spa... the prices here I am sure are at least 2000 dollars more..but I don't know what they should be ..I do realize they have inport taxes and transportation costs...but what they are asking is rediculous...I need knowledge as to what bargaining I can do but don't have a clue as to what a retailer may have paid....My option is to go to Ft. Lauderdale-Miami area to buy one and have it shipped here by sea...I do think that is a good option but I would like to have some sort of guarantee from the manufacturer but I don't know it it would be ok if I took it out of the USA. The Jacuzzi dealer called offering a 25% discount of their floor model...the J-460 and still asked for $10,496.. I thought this was rediculous.... Any help form this forum is greatly appreciated...
