Carl in Tampa

I'm located in Tampa, Florida. After over 20 years of having, but not using, the in-ground pool in my back yard I have neglected it to the point that much of the marcite is worn away and black algae has taken over. I've killed the algae but it is undoubtedly imbedded into the concrete. I'd like to just throw in the towel and have the pool removed. Resale value of the house is of no particular interest to me, so having the pool to enhance the property value doesn't apply. Does anyone have suggestions on who to call to have this done? Would you call a pool installer? And, most importantly, what would such a project, which includes filling in the hole, cost? I might consider installing an in-ground spa in place of the pool, but this could be a separate project at a later date. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
