ras Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 ok I have had my hot tub for 3 years but im lazy and just got around to hooking it up today. I was told it was functioning when I bought it but it was drained when I picked it up. So anyway i dont know what brand the hot tub is but its a little round guy that I think fits 3 people. It has a balboa m7 control panel that is suppose to be brand new and looks the part. It was set up for 240v but I dont have the time nor the money right now to run a dedicated line to it so I did the conversion as listed on the wiring diagram on the back of the panel. also switched to a 115v motor. now I have jets and no blower and I keep getting DR code on the lcd display. I am completly lost PLEASE HELP. My wife has been beating me up about this not being running for about 2 and a half years now. lol Quote
John A Stephens Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Check the voltage across the blower motor. If you have voltage the problem is with the motor. If you don't have voltage look at the diagram for anything in that circuit like relays and switches. IF you want you can send me a pdf of the diagram @ [email protected] and I will look for things to check. Quote
brettnolan Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 The DR code sounds like there is no water moving across the heater. I'm not sure we are reading your post right. Are you saying you now have a 115v jet pump, but no blower? Or is the blower not working? When you turn the jets on, you definitively have water returning to the tub? If not, you probably have an air lock in the pump. Loosen the union on the discharge side of the pump and let water leak out a little bit, then tighten it back up and try to start it again. See what happens. Quote
