kelcelly Posted June 30, 2013 Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 I have a sand filter. Pressure used to be around 10psi (up to 20psi before backwash.) The pressure is now always around 4 psi. The water is still flowing in the pool. I've checked the forum for similar problems, followed their advices, and still have the problem: - it's not a clogged impeller (cleaned it) - no (visible) clogs in the pipes - no air leak (no air bubbles in the pool) - changed the spider gasket I tried to open the little valve on top of the sand filter (the one that's on the gauge), and almost no water is coming out: just a few drops. Could it be a malfunction of the gauge (clogged)? Need to change the sand? What can I do to find out where the problem is coming from? Thanks K.
