Nafizur Posted November 17, 2013 Report Share Posted November 17, 2013 Hi there, I just closed my pool today. However, I have a little concern and was wondering if u guys can help. I have one skimmer, 2 return lines and no main drain. I used a shop vac to blow the lines from the skimmer. I had the pump basket closed and once I started the shop vac, I saw lot of bubbles from return one, so I plugged it and the other return started to bubble and I plugged that to. Note I had the filter set to recirculate. Now I turned off the vac and opened the pump basket lid and then turned the shop vac to blow the skimmer/suction line. Once there was no water coming out of the pump basket, I took out the shop vac and tried to plug the skimmer. Now here is my concern, when I was trying to plug it, air and water started to come back on the skimmer basket from the pipe. I don't know how because I tried to blow the skimmer line again but now water would come out on the other end. Could you please advise.
