  1. I've got a lay z spa (Miami) and have been having problems with cloudy water and rough sides. I treated it with scale inhibitor and all of the limescale came off the sides but the clouding got worse which I assume was caused by the lime scale in the water. Tried lots of things, spent hours researching on the internet. I then decided to shock it with chlorine. Did it once and after 24 hours there was quite an improvement so I did it again. After another 24 hours the water was crystal clear. I then made a big mistake. I checked the levels and noticed the PH was low so I added PH plus. Water went cloudy again. I have just removed the filter after 48 hours and in the photos you will see what I found. What the hell is it? If you pick it up and rub it between your fingers it just dissolves into milky water.
