Purchased the spa back in October and everything was going well until my sister forgot to put the cover back on in late December. I hadn't notice for a few days that the cover was off so when I went to check the tub, the water was completely drained. I refilled the tub but forgot to add the chemicals until a few days ago. When I first checked the spa it was full of particles that looked like flakes of skin. The skimmers were also full of this stuff so I cleaned the filter, skimmers, and drained and wiped the tub. After refilling, I noticed there were still thousands of these particles but now they were much smaller. I tried to test the water (pic 1 and 2) (after then before) to see if the flakes were inorganic or organic but couldn't conclude if the particles had been killed or if the water was too cloudy to tell. The flakes are white in color but appear to be more tan when grouped together. Our water is well water and is very hard so not sure if it could be calcium buildup. What is this stuff? How should I go about cleaning the tub? (Sorry for the poor image quality}
