  1. Hi, I have seen some posts on here about the Hot Spring (HS) Auxiliary boards. I have a HS Sovereign, I believe a 2005 model, and it had a semi working & much faded aux panel in the tub. The part number is Watkins PN 0972401 (3 button model, 1 for jets 2 for lights). I'm unsure if its an original. I removed and replaced with a similar 3 button panel off ebay, silver with black buttons, with the same part number. I installed it and its not working. To check I unplugged it and plugged back in the old one which still had some of the functions working (but not fully). So this lead me to believe that the new panel is faulty (I've lodged a refund at ebay). I read on here that HS had some faulty or not so good aux panels. My question is, what panels are the good ones and what ones are the bad ones, how do you tell them apart? I notice some panels are silver others white, some have 3 buttons others 4, some have part number 972401 others 74282 (the 3 button ones that is). Does it matter if you get a 3 button one or a 4 button one? Any help on getting the good ones would be helpful as I will have to order a new replacement one and want to get the right one.
