  3. Please ask me any questions about the Arctic Spa. I have been selling Arctic’s for over 8 years now. They are a great spa. Each of the 61 Arctic Jets will spin giving you a very therapeutic feeling over jets that just shoot straight out. My opinion is wet test!

  4. I was wondering the exact same thing. What manufacturer makes the same spa in both a full-foam and thermopane variety? Even if somebody did, and the research turned out as it says they did, all it proves is that there's a difference between those two models. Due to the differences between all the manufacturers out there, it would be hard to generalize these findings to all thermopane and full foam brands.

Emeral Spas make both a thermopane and full foam spa. At least they did in the past. I'm not sure if they still make both.

  5. Not all covers are created equal. Arctic Spas makes there own cover. Arctic does all of the warranty in house. Arctic uses 3lb density foam. Arctic uses an insulated baffle down the entire center of the cover. Arctic covers are stronger. 14 people can stand on the cover. This equates to snow load.

  6. Here are some e-mails from my customers reguarding there Arctic Spa. I have a faxed copy of an energy bill, it states 25.5 KW used in December of 2004 vs. 25.3 KW used in December 2005. He has an Arctic Fox 257 gallon tub. Actual names have been removed.

First letter: Avalanche 490 Gallon tub

After one year with our Arctic Spa.

We have found that the cost of keeping our spa running year round is

around $15.00 per month. We keep the water at 102 during the winter

    and 95 during the summer.

This cost includes electric, water, and chemicals.

Keeping the spa water in balance has been very easy. We check the balance

twice a week. It has taken very little in the way of chemicals to maintain

    good balance.

We have purchased all of our chemicals from you. We have been very happy

with the Arctic Pure line to keep our water balanced and trouble free.

As for our experience with the Arctic Spa, we would recommend it to

anyone who is looking to purchase a spa.

    Regards

And another e-mail: Frontier 400 Gallon

I am writing to let you know just how much we have and are enjoying our Arctic Spa, and how great the staff at the Novi store has been to work with.

We use our spa at least 3 times a week, and have friends and family that come to visit us just so they can use the spa. There's nothing like climbing into the spa after a long day, and we have found you'll never have a better nights sleep then after taking a late night trip to a spa.

We were a little concerned about how much it would cost us to operate a spa, but when we purchased our Arctic Spa we were told it would be $10 to $15 a month. Now that we have about a year of ownership under our belts, I can say that it has been approximately $10 a month to operate the spa.

I would also like to tell you how wonderful the staff at the Novi store has been to work with. We had a problem with the heater the day the spa was delivered, and it was replaced within hours. We just recently had a problem with one of the jets in our spa, I took it in and was given a new one without any problem or hassle.

Getting our chemical supplies has been extremely easy as well. All I have to do is pick up the phone, tell you what I need, and it is shipped out and delivered right to my door.

We have recommended Arctic Spa to a number of our friends and family, and will continue to spread the word about how great owning an Arctic Spa has been.

    Sincerely,

Hope that helps. You can read more letters on arcticspas.com

  7. This is completly true! There were two other spas that got soaped. An employee of Inside Out was the one caught on tape, he left the bath room with a hand full of soap. He was fired, but I bet he will show up back in Inside Out's store. However I don't think InsideOut was banned from the show. This type of tactics is shamful!

  8. When a customer puts a deposit on a spa from my company I always give a full refund on the deposit unless the spa gets delivered. This past year un-fortunately I have refunded a few deposits. I even write, "Deposit is Fully Refundable". Even if the contract doesn't have "Deposit is Fully Refundable" written on the contract I will still refund their money. When I have commission employees, they aren't paid until the spa is delivered!

  9. There was a Pool and Spa Show April of 2005 in Novi, MI (Metro Detroit area) where 15 plus pool and spa dealers set up to sell there product. One of the Master Spa dealers ran TV, Radio, and Newspaper ads that same weekend saying that the Pool and Spa Show had been moved to a different location (where of course only Master Spa was selling there product). Talk about deceitful sales tactics. What a shameful company. Another Master Spa dealer in this area who was at the show isn’t associated with the company who did this shameful act. The Pool and Spa Show of 2006 is next weekend March 24-26. Hopefully the Master Spa dealer doesn't repeat this type of thing.

  10. Beats heck outta me. Now I'm gonna hafta pore through the dern instructions t' figure out what kind of filtration it is. Unless, of course, an Arctic dealer guy decides to chime in. HELP!

Arctic Spas are no-bypass during the filtration cycle. I beleve most spas are no-bypass during filtration.

  11. My store in Breckenridge, CO maintains 120 spas each week for customers. We do chemical balance, add water, drain/fill, basically keep the tub clean for the second home owner. Every brand of spa, not one stays that much cleaner then the other. The way the spa stays clean is who actually uses the spa. Who checks the chemicals, and how clean the people who enter the spa are.

So filtration should be a concern, but make sure you WET TEST!!!!

Oh ya make sure you WET TEST!!

You should also feel comfortable with the dealer your buying the spa from.

  12. Our new Arctic Frontier was delivered and installed the last week of December 2005.

We keep the tub water at 103 degrees F 24/7.

Our electric usage for January 2006 is up 257 KwH over January 2005.

Our average daily usage is 7.8 KwH.

The current cost of electricity is fifteen cents per KwH.

Estimated daily cost to run the tub is $1.17

Approximate increase in monthly bill is $38.50

So by that token the cost to run the spa in Michigan now that the cost per KwH is $0.08 would be $20.

at $0.05 the cost of operation $12.85

Pretty good if you ask me!

    Michael

  13. great spa, so so dealer or great dealer so so spa

A bit of both. But the dealer is just as important as the spa.

So each case, each area is different. Depending on the type of dealer and type of spa (there are at least 10-15 good brands out there)

    Wet Test!!!!

    Oh ya Wet Test!!!

    Michael
