Thanks for the impeller info Tenzen. I have had nothing but problems with my V2 unit. No replacement parts and they wanted to sell me a 800 new unit, haha. They had to send me 4 of them before I got one that worked when I "upgraded" from the V1. The Fluval 304/5 impeller has been working fine for me for the past month or so, even thopugh the blades are slightly different from the original impeller.
I could only find the impeller so I reused the old ceramic shaft which was very worn (hourglass shape), but had a tight fit in the Fluval impeller. It is so quiet I can barely tell its running. Now I'm also working on finding a liner leak, arghhh.
