  1. Need to order some parts and each part comes in either warm or cool grey.  The online pictures don't seem to help and the only part number I can find on anything is the pillow I need to replace that has a 1116501 number on the back but a search turns up nothing.  Nothing on my paperwork or a lookup by serial number.  Can anyone tell me from the attached pictures if this is warm grey or cool grey?

  2. Hi, this is sort of a long post.  I am in the process of doing some major work on my 2011 Hot Springs.  I admit I got lazy with the water testing and apparently my PH and Chorine levels over time got out of whack and all my stainless steel rings on my jets and bezels have rusted.  I am in the process of figuring out what I have to replace but that makes me think what is the best system going forward.  Some history of what I have had.

I purchased this with the ACE system which I believe history has determined to be a pretty bad solution.  The cell failed and they replaced it once under warranty.  After about 3 years when it came to the point of replacing it at $800, I replaced it with a SmarterSpa system.  I purchased the one that measures the chlorine and runs as needed.  Replaced the cells a few times and it appeared to work well.  Not sure what has happened now but guessing it just created too much chlorine most likely due to me not maintaining everything as often as I should.

So going forward, I'm trying to decide if I should replace the Smarter Spa with another one, take a look at the new Hot Springs Salt solution which doesn't retrofit so not sure that is even an option or go with the old Hot Springs Ozone solution.

Any experts with a lot of experience have any advice to help me make a decision?

    Thanks!

  3. Hey guys!  Hope this question is appropriate as it's "Pool Related" but not directly about pools.  I have the standard aluminum constructed cage 2x2 aluminum that currently has standard 20x20 insect fiberglass screen.  I am replacing all my 36" bottom panels with Pet Screen because my dog keeps tearing out the screen when it gets old.  The pet screen is much tougher but also thicker.  I installed one panel this weekend using the standard 5/16 inch  (.315) flat spline and it was a royal pain but with a lot of work and stretching it, it came out good.  My question is for anyone that has installed screen or better yet pet screen, what size spline do you find works best?  They make a .290 that is expensive as hell and not sure .025 inches would even be much different especially with stretching.  Maybe just some better tips.  I've heard to used dish soap.

    Thank You!

You didn't state what this 120 VAC would be for; if for a TV or stereo, best to mount and wire it away from the spa and use the remote control.

My kids got us a 37" flat screen TV last year; got a ceiling mount and hung it from the patio roof rafter, use the remote control to operate it safely while in the spa.

Sorry.  I did leave that out.  My hot tub has the ACE system which I'm one of the ones that have grown tired of replacing cells.  I love using a salt system so I'm going with a third party system that uses 110V.  I just want to do a clean install and not have cords running all around my tub so wanting to get power from the hot tub and run the cell like the ACE cell into the well.  So not adding anything crazy.   Just a spa accessory.  Also, I am not looking to modify the wiring.  I know there are a lot of accessories that can be added to hot tubs so I was assuming there would be accessory power sources on the board for adding components.  Sort of like a computer motherboards has expandable features.

P.S.  As this shows as the official board for Hot Springs, I'm not advertising the system I am trying and not bad mouthing the ACE system.
