They just delivered a new Grandee to me today and I was shocked to see there was no insulation on the pump side door. It looks like the tub itself is insulated but the pump housing and the plumbing have to have heat loss I'd guess.

Hi all, we just got our new tub today and are waiting for it to heat up so we can enjoy it. My wife and I were just outside checking it out and noticed a very small cut in the cover. The installers are long gone so I will ask the folks here. Other than the obvious wanting the cover to not have this cut. In the long run how bad is it to have it cut and how hard should I press for a new cover? I can only assume this will have an adverse effect on the life of it correct? Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
