I was getting codes 172 and 185. Replaced the sensor. Now I am getting error code 120. Cleaned cell with acid wash 4:1 ratio. Still get error. Am I checking voltage at cell and backboard next? What should I do if the voltage is right at these check points?

Thanks, Pool Clown. I'll let you know how it plays out after I install the new sensor.

Hi All,
I also have a jandy aquapure 1400. It's about 4 years old. I am getting error codes 172 and 185 which I know are related to the flow sensor. My question is this: will a faulty sensor prevent all production of chlorine? And , is there any way to bypass the sensor altogether? I have been struggling with green algae on the bottom and side walls for about 12 days now. I have shocked it twice in that span. The water is still clear and that is why I am questioning the chlorine production of a faulty sensor. Thanks in advance for your advice.

The cell is in its fourth year. 33,000 gallon pool. runs at or near 100% most of the season, which is 5 1/2 months long. Solar heated pool on Long Island.
