  1. Sorry...no test no cash!!!!

If 90% of the people do not test or even sit in the tub before they purchase as noted in the other response then I must have under estimated the number of really dumb people out there!!!!

This is a large purchase with no recoarse and we do not let loose of our hard earned money so easy............................. :o

  3. BE AMERICAN,BUY AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever thought about how countries are developing now? They are riding the wave of our appetite for cheap goods.

Our money is going to places that often times do not like us, our money is building their infrastructure, our money is raising

their quality of life and education. Of course I'm not against that at all, good for them. But what about us? That is why we

should bring some balance back on our side.

  4. Their website would lead someone to believe they are associated with Arctic Spas, since they show all the Arctic Spa and Coyote Spa models. Though I'm wondering if this website is perhaps simply an Arctic Spa dealer based in Washington state. Their contact information is out of Washington. Their "Find Locations" button doesn't work, however on their contacts page there's an "Apollo" link at the bottom that attempts to open a map of Seattle (however I got an error there).

  5. New to the forum , but have been gathering some good advice. I'm a relative newbie to spas (6 months), and own a sundance altamar - 6 months old. I'm paying $175.00 for non washable filters and would like to know if I have any alternatives to the dealer. Preferably a quality, washable filter

    from an aftermarket manufacterer.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Bob :D

  7. You have a tough decision to make. Only you can make it. I can tell you why I didn't choose a Bullfrog. I thought about having to replace those jetpacks. Not wanting to replace them but having to. They seemed like the weak link in the hot tub to me, especially if you moved them frequently. Something about having a hot tub where the jets were molded in place just seemed more secure to me and less prone to break. I am not saying that my opinion is correct. That's just the logic I used at the time.

The Bullfrog was a comfortable spa. The Oscillator jet pack was the abosolut best massage I found for my lower back in any spa, and I tested a lot of them. I simply wasn't convinced that it would last.

I didn't choose a Bullfrog and went hot springs

  8. Hello,

I'm brand new here and have a couple of questions. I just bought a Nordic Escape premium demo from a dealer and when I got it delivered I noticed

a white build up on areas of the tub itself, chrome fixtures and the black plastic jets. I would like to ask you experts out there what would be the best way to clean these areas before I go and fill her up. Your help is appreciated.

CLR is preferred by most of the spa manufacturers to remove the scale. It will take elbow grease and time but, using a stiff scrub brush with the CLR will eventually get the majority of the scale off of the spa. Once you have it down to and acceptable level then I would use some sort of sealant or gloss to try to prevent it from coming back. I hope this will help with your calcium buildup issue.

  9. Well the deed has been done and we went with the Hot Springs Grandee as bottomline we found the Jacuzzi J470 to be a great product, but does not have any real arm support in the seating arrangement. Little things do matter and comfort is a big trigger point with us. Totally appeciate everyones input thru this process and personally thank Jerimiah Reece@

Mountain Hot Tub for providing non patisan anwers to my technical and pricing questions.

Please remember that price point is not only driver in the purchase of highend spas, It is a consideration, but not the main driver.

Bottomline! Quality and those awesome dual moto jet seats got us!

    thank You

  10. My wife and I looked at Sundance and Bullfrog:

Found Bullfrog to be very uncomfortable after about 10 minutes, jets were great, but seating was confining.

Sundance quoted at that price is a steal, but our local dealer is way out of wack price wise and has a attitude

We settled on a Hot Springs Grandee 2009 late year model change and ordered it yesterday and have to wait 3=4 weeks for it to be built, but good things take time!!!!
