Hello, I need help from someone who can trouble shoot with me. I'm an electrician so I can run tests if I know what to do. I've got a 10 year old "Marquis Spa" hot tub with a "Balboa" 52753-03 MT SUV controller. All of a sudden I have no display, no pumps running, and no heat. Power is on. Can anyone tell me where to start? I checked the fuses I can see.....all OK. I hear a relay clicking every so often. Thanks in advance. John

I use "Spa sanitizing granules" from Spa Depot and their PH up / down and shock once a week. That is all I use.

I replaced my pump / motor on my hot tub a couple years ago and it just failed. Seal on motor end of pump failed and took out the bearing. I called the company I got it from and they said the 3 year warranty does not cover that seal. I'm just wondering if this is normal. 2nd question would what would cause it. My 1st pump lasted 7 years. Thoughts?

Hi, I'm new here but a hot tub owner for a long time. (Marque Spa 9 years old) I replaced my pump / motor a couple years ago and in the last week it has gotten very noisy. Tonight it just "hums". So I'm sure it will trip the brkr. Here in Illinois it will fall well below zero tonight. Will anything freeze? If I drain it will I be OK untill I get it fixed? Any thoughts would be welcomed. John
