  1. The comfort was about equal. If I had to choose based on comfort of the seats I would go with the Bullfrog.
  2. Looking for advice. I own a second-hand 2000 Sundance Marin. It's a high-quality tub I suppose, but the control panel is going, the cabinet is rotting, the heater leaks, the ozonator is dead (I know that one's not fair) and the pillows never stay on. I simply don't find it to be very comfortable either. The seats aren't as ergonomic as I feel they should be. I used to own a Sweetwater Cayman which was lower quality parts from the Sundance brand, but more comfortable. ANYWAY... I have been browsing local dealers and have found three that I really like so far. I like the layout of the Bullfrogs. The movable jetpacks are no big deal to me, but I like the layout and the price is lower compared to Sundance, Hotspring, D1, etc. I also like the Limelight Flair and, to a lesser extent, the Caldera Marino. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should lean? I don't have a price for the Flair, but I was quoted $5800 for the Marino (curbside delivery, which I find lousy), and $6k for the Bullfrog with delivery to the concrete pad and an ozonator. Thoughts? Any other suggestions not mentioned here? Thanks for your help!!
  3. Is there anyone in here who works for a Sundance retailer or Sundance Corporation? I have recently been EXTREMELY unhappy with the way I've been treated. Every person I talk to, either through the retailer or the corporation, sends me to someone else and seems genuinly disinterested in my problem. I've never come across a company with so little regard for its customers in my life. Maybe they make a good product and are not used to complaints, but mine is genuine and I am being treated like I've done something wrong. The corporation is ignoring my emails and letters and brushing me off when I talk to them on the phone. The retailer YELLED at me and worse at my wife when we were trying to resolve a broken tub issue (the ninth time it has been not working in three years.) Does anyone here have knowledge of this company's customer service philosphy or have any suggestions?
  4. Thanks for taking the time to reply. For the record, I check the PH, clean the filter and all the other stuff regularly and there hasn't been a problem. Plus, I have already tried to contact Sundance corporation through email twice and via the mail and have been ignored. You are not wrong, however, and I will make sure I rule out operator error first. Thanks again for your time.
  5. What I believe is wrong is what is wrong with my '04 Sweetwater Cayman. It's garbage. We had a temperature sensor replaced twice. The lenses break constantly, the heater makes too much noise, the foot jets are a joke and the swirly jets don't swirl. We just had the sensor replaced for the second time because it was displaying 100 degrees and felt like 65. They fixed it. Now it says 65. Great. It's still cold! Good luck. I'm attempting to get mine replaced but my hopes are not too high.
  6. I bought a Sweetwater Cayman (Sundance Brand) in Feb of 2004. I have had one problem after another with it. The dealer has sent someone to fix it a few times, but I'm sick and tired of having a cold tub. I am going to the dealer next week to try to negotiate the replacement of or reimbursment toward a new tub. Does anyone have any advice? I would like to get compensation toward a Marin or Altamar, but am willing to look at the new Cayman. Are there other reports of the Sweetwater Cayman being a total piece of garbage or is it just mine?
