Im not all sure on pressure on gauges on the pools. But it does sound alot like the sand in the filter is a huge problem. How long hasnt the sand been changed. It only lasts for about 2-3 years. Change that if it is older. If the sand is rather new. Take a bag of salt for normal salt pools and put it in the filter. fill it with water and let it sit over night. then backwash the system for 5 minutes and rinse for 2 mins. Hope that helps J

How old is the pump ? Check the O-rings as this can allow air into the system. Also, how old is the sand in the filter ? This too can make a huge difference in circulation on the pool Hope that helps J
