Check to make sure that the foam insulation that is in the pump housing isn't blocking the air intake as it makes a 90 degree angle from the tub up to the controller unit. I just took my pump unit apart recently because I had an issue with a leak and put it back together and this was my issue. Push the foam back down below the 90. Hope this helps!
