I have an Aqua Rite Chlorine generator that was giving me a cell power error. Long story short; I unplugged the unit from my main control board, went in the house, came back out and my dog chewed the plug almost entirely off the cord. Yes, I know, my fault for leaving it like that. I have since been informed that the problem, when you get that message, is with the board itself, not the generator. So now I have a cell that works, but I can't plug it in. The board is still under warranty. I spoke with Hayward and their customer service is nonexistent. They will not sell me the cord, or even an extra plug (which I could splice in), they will only sell the whole unit - isn't that convenient for them? At least $400 for the unit. Does anyone have any advice (besides not leaving my pool equipment in range of my dog)? Thanks for any help you can offer.
