  1. Hi, My wife's family has built an inground pool in Thailand that is about 10m x 5m and when full the water is around 1.5m deep. It's completely tiled but has no filtration system and they haven't been treating it so the end result has been clean water for a short time then progressively dirtier water until it's unsafe to swim and then they empty, clean and refill it. This is obviously not a very good way of going about things and a huge waste of water (though they don't refill it often) but they are in a remote area and the price to buy and install a filtration system is very expensive so I said I would try to find out what the options where for treating such a pool. Is there anything that can be done? Can we add chlorine to the pool with other chemicals to keep it clean and safe for swimming? Will it be neccessary to mix the chemicals by hand? I would really appreciate any advice that anyone might have to offer. thanks
