I have Goldline controls and Pentair equipment on inground pool and spa. Every thing works fine even with heater....except when I turn on spa and heater after a few minutes they both cut off! Does not happen with just pool/heater running. Just backwashed filter, DE but did not help. Any help will be appreciated.

Mine works perfectly if I give the wheels a little push. It happens after the reverse cycle. Works perfectly after I help it out. It's like something isn't letting it engage the wheels to start. Could this still be the hose like you were saying? Are you sure back up valve is not cracked? Pull it out of the water and check.

Mine did this a few weeks ago. If you take off the top cover, there is a hose that is similar size in diameter to the tail hose. Mine had pulled away from the fitting on one side, thus not driving the wheels. I went ahead and bought a new one and it works fine. BTW, first Polaris part I ever bought for less than $4.00. LOL
