Ok i have tried every thing and still my paper cartridge filter clogs up every 15 to 20 minutes, i was so frustrated until i used my noggin and took the filter out put panty hose around the basket in the skimmer and it actually catches all the small particles just as good as the paper cartridge and greatly improves the flow on the pump too. I will keep doing this until i can get a good sand filter. If you guys have any idea how to help please do.

thanks alot ill try this, i am starting to see a little difference but my filter is still clogging up every 10-20 minutes FRUSTRATING as heck lol.

went and bought some from my local pool dealer put it in like 45 minutes ago and still doing the same thing maybe it takes a little longer time will tell

What is the best thing to remove sunscreen from a pool?? So bad that clogs filter up every 20 minutes or so,i suppose its sunscreen its a clear oily mess that rinses off the filter with filter cleaner
