  1. I have had this happen on two previous calls. It turned out to be the GUI board. The main board that controls the heater. Not cheap to buy Do you mean the Ignition Control Module? I think the manufacturer is "Fenwall". Do you know if I can get that part in a local heating parts store or do I have to order online?
  2. I have a 4 year old Jandy 400N. It has worked well for the past 3 seasons. This year my service company could not get it to light. They tried and could not fix it. I am pretty good at repairing this kind of stuff and starting working on it two weeks ago. So far I have completed the following: Checked gas pressure - OK Replaced Blower Pressure Switch Replaced Surface Igniter Replaced Flame Sensor Replace Water Pressure Sensor At start-up blower cycles on, after about 30-60 seconds to unit cycles off and display "AGS" I have read other posts and seen discussions of bad gas valves and cloged orifices. I am willing to try but the valve seems like a long shot. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hi Everyone, I have a 40 year old concrete pool that was renovated 10 years ago by a company in Long Island,NY called Superior Pools. I have had problems with the cping and fiberglass pulling away from the pool from the day the renovation was completed. The contractor was very good about coming back every couple of years to fix and repair. He is now out of business and I connot for the life of me find anyone in NY willing to help. I thought the concept was great. The spray on fiberglass seemed like a great solution for an old cracking concrete pool. I would appreciate it if anyone knows of a company or supplier familiar with the process my contractor used.
