Hi all, I have done a search but couldn't find the info I was looking for. We have an older, about 11 years old, agp pool that we
were thinking of switching over to swg. My main concern is what it would do to our gas heater. Salt and metal don't play well
together in the best of times so I am thinking that with the salt water in contact with the thin metal in a heat exchanger of a 7
year old gas heater it would not be good. I am not sure what type of metal the baffles in the heat exchanger are made of.
Anyone with specific knowledge about this issue? I don't want to go ahead with the swg if it is gonna ruin the heater. We live in
Ontario, Canada so we need the heater.
Thanks for any replies to this post.
