  1. Yea you would think that should of protected it but it didn't, this is a brand new pack.
  2. So to who ever had read my last post I did get that fixed and added the solution on that post, Now have a new issue, when we got the circulator put going we bled the l lines but guess we did it in the wrong spot, we bled the line right at the ciculator pump. So when we turned the hot tub on everything was looking good I had my hand on the heater tube and it was getting hot quick so we disconnected it about 30 secs after powering it on. There was flow coming thru but did not like how it heated up so I bled the line right by the heater tube and there was air in the line and I heard the water sizzle on the heater element. I spoke to balboa about this and the support tech told me that should not be anything to worry about it should be fine. so we made sure everything was bled and powered the hot tub back on and everything is working fine great flow through the circulator pump all jet pumps work and the heater light is lite up. But after running all night it did not heat, are those heater elements that sensitive could they burn up that quick or should I check something else out before replacing it? As always thank you for all your responses
  3. Ok found out it did not go to the red 240 it goes to black 240 j17 now we have another prob I wi start another tooc In it thanks for ur suggestions
  4. Thank you for the reply and I had thought that too and it does not work. I tries it and the circulator pump does not come on, tested the pump and the pump works fine even switched the jumpers back to the original spot and tried that to see if it was something else and the pump tries to work but of course does not have the correct power so the motor just surges. So when I switches the white wire/neutral to red 240 just as the diagram explains for the blower the motor does not power on. Any other suggestions? Thanks again
  5. I am helping a friend replace his spa pack, I am very familar with installing these types of packs I have installed several of them before but we specifically asked for a spa pack set up with a 220 volt circulator pump and they sent the pack set up for a 120 volt circulator pump. When I contacted them about it they said it can be used for either but you have to have a certified spa tech contact balboa for the jumper wire conversion and will no accept a return because we have already installed the pack. Can someone please direct me to where to move the jumper wires to convert the circulator pump to 240 volt? The cover of the pack shows how to covert the blower/ozone from 120 v to 240 volt but no diagrahm for the circulator pump. Thanks in advance for the help!!!!!
