  1. I can't get heater to come on. It is controled by compool controller. I have power at the transformer but nothing out of the transformer. Is there a safey to prevent power for it. The transformer is very rusty. What is the most common problem wth this heater? Is there a way to test the transformer? Thanks,
  2. I got the new sensor installed and all is good!! Thanks for your help
  3. It is a 2" line out of the ground. I just wante to make sure that was the correct place to install the blower. Thanks in advance,
  4. My friends pool only has a pipe sticking out of the ground that is suppose to suck air in for the spa. Is there any way to add a blower or do you have to install new plumming?
  5. Not recently but have had problems ever since I did. :-)
  6. Ok I checked both with my ohm meter. The one that is original with the red and green wire checks ok. I used it for freeze warning and it works. The other was replaced and has a red and black wire. It reads differant and will not work for water temp for some reason. I plan to buy a new sensor with red and green wire and hope it fixes the problem. Comments welcome, Thanks for your help!!
  7. Sorry I am noob. You are correct it is plaster over gunite. Is it possible to fill the pits with thin coat of plaster? then acid wash or does all plaster have to be removed and replaced?
  8. I have a gunite spa and pool. I wanted to start with painting the spa but I have some pitts in the gunite. How do you repair the pitting and what is a good paint manufacture? Thanks,
  9. I am getting error mesage #1 Freeze warning. I have tried to disconect freeze temp and water temp sensors. I still get error message. The pool has a mind of its own. It turns on and off all on its own. I have no control over it. Is there away to take the sensors out of the system and control the pool myself? I would like to fix the sensors at somepoint but don't want to throw parts at it. I have replace freeze sensor but still no good. Also is there anyway to check sensors with ohm meter? Thanks,
