Guest Andrea
I am fairly new to the world of Spas, but so far have been doing fairly well and enjoying my Jaccuzzi immensly. Anyway, we drained our spa and left it empty for about 6 weeks as it is summer time and too hot!! So we just refilled it and soaked the filters in a filter cleaner. My hubby may have used too high a concentration but anyway, I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed them until I was sure they were good. Well, now that I have added all the chemicals, I now see that there is some sort of chemical reaction happening on the surface of the water. It moves in a wave like pattern and happens every 5-10 seconds!!! And my alkalinity is very high. Does anyone know what could be happening, and what I should do about it? The spa store is closed for the day now and I have no one to phone about this. Please help!!
Guest amanda
In order to help we may need to know a couple of things. What chemicals have you added? How many gallons does your spa hold? What happens when you turn on the jets... ie: any foaming? What are the results of your testing the other levels of the chemicals in your spa?
