Solar Heat Choice

Recommended Posts

We're committed to installing solar to our pool in the next month or so. We're currently debating between Heliocol, which uses an individual tube design, and Alcor, which uses Sealed Air. The guy at our local pool supply store said he thought there was next to no difference in performance between the two other than that the Heliocol collectors are easier to install. Since we're not going to do the install ourselves, that's a moot point. Also, the bids are nearly identical.

Does anyone out there have direct experience with either of these options and could you provide feedback on your satisfaction level with them if so?

Thanks
