sjt2900 Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 A few pictures from begining to end. </a> Its nice to relax now all thats done. Stuart--Your landscaping is gorgeous. What can you tel me about that umbrella over the spa? Is the access to the motor on the side as the stereo? Then you built up your deck around the rest right? Quote
Stuart A Posted July 7, 2008 Author Report Posted July 7, 2008 Thank you, it was hard work but worth it, I will take some more pictures soon now that I have finished the rest of the garden. I got the umbrella from the dealer I brought the spa from. I mainly use it for sun shade, it does have led's lights, but I do not use these much. I did have trouble finding a protective cover to fit it, in the end I got a patio heater cover which fits it fine. The pumps and all the other equipment is located behind the panels where the stereo is. The subwoofer is around the back. If I remove the decking around the spa I can still remove the other panels if need be, but I hope I dont have to. I built the lower level decking first then the steps and lastly around the spa. Quote
Stuart A Posted July 7, 2008 Author Report Posted July 7, 2008 Just noticed that one of my pictures has been deleted, it was a picture of the spa being lowered by the crane, not sure what rule was broken there. I will try and find out why it has been deleted. Update I have just checked on Photobucket and it is still there this was it. Quote

spa_newb Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Incredible. Is the umbrella an accessory made specigically for the tub? Quote
spatech (the unreal one) Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Incredible. Is the umbrella an accessory made specigically for the tub? That is a industry standard umbrella made by Liesure Concepts. Dealers of many spa brands carry that umbrella. http://www.leisureconcepts.com/main.php?page=34 Quote
spa_newb Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Thanks. I assume this must go in at install time, since it goes under the tub! Quote
spatech (the unreal one) Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Thanks. I assume this must go in at install time, since it goes under the tub! Or the next time you drain. It’s not difficult to take a pry bar (lead pipe, etc.) and a small 2x4 and pry the spa up a little to slide the umbrella base under the spa. Quote
Stuart A Posted October 3, 2008 Author Report Posted October 3, 2008 Spatech is correct the umbrella is an industry standard one, and most dealers have them in stock or can order one. It is quite easy to put the base under the spa, it is a thin plate. Quote
spaseekers Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 i have the same umbrella.but at the time it was delivered along with the tub we discovered the base was defective,so i couldn't install the umbrella because i wasn't going to hold off filling my tub.i recieved the new base a week later and just temporarily bolted it down to my deck.I'll install it under the tub in the spring when i do my drain and refill Quote
