judy
We have a 27' round pool. What direction should the "eye" on the return jet be position. Should the eye shoot straight toward the center of the pool or should it be positioned to the right? Also should the eye be pointing up, down or even keel as to not cause a ripple? Trying to get the best position to keep the pool clean.
Pathfinder
I usually have the return pointing downwards and to the right. To find the best circulation flow for you pool take a leaf put it on the surface and see how fast it will move around the pool and you can adjust your return that way. Trigger
I agree with pathfinder (and my dealer as well). The filter return eye should be facing away from the filter/skimmer intake (usally to the right) and downward. You want to use the flow of water comming out of the filter to create maximum water circulation around the entire pool and a sweeping action on the bottom.
