mywae Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 Can someone help or guide me? I am disabled and only aqua therapy has helped. My Physical therapy unit has closed and I can no longer go for aqau treatments. Does anyone know where I can purchase a modest spa and installation? I can get into the spa with some help or stairs. I simply need to find someone to sell me a spa and install it but I have a fixed income so I can't afford an elaborate spa. Please contact me via e-mail at [email protected] if anyone can provide help or suggestions. Thank you, Lou in New Jersey Quote
Chas Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 Lou, I would contact some local spa dealers in your area. They might be able to help with a tub which will exactly meet your needs, and they could help with setting it up as well. Some dealers offer used tubs, or can order special seconds or blems to get you into hot water and save some money. Quote

There are automated cover lifts coming onto the market that may be a help. Good luck Quote
soakerman Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 You might have good success in checking with the local hospitol in your area and see if they have any special priceing and also check with your medical insurance provider. they might have better pricing and ideas for you. Quote
Mr Solo Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Since I'm the only one in my family that will use a spa, I got the Sundance Solo model. It's a one person spa with twenty-four jets and only uses 100 gallons of water. It's a nice small spa that doesn't take up too much room, and works great for what I need it for. Below is a link to read more about them if your interested. http://www.sundancespas.com/700Series/Solo.php Quote

Thank you, Lou in New Jersey I was told that medicare does cover a hot tub if you have a prescription, but don't know for sure. Can't hurt to try! I too am looking for a new hot tub for my disabled needs & am quite disappointed with the service from local Sundance dealer. I'm considering a Royal Spa & looking for any reviews... Good Luck!
