cosmos
Thanks a lot for getting me clear about my spa goo- will try to balance the chemicals better. I have one more concern: I Just emptied my first tub of Baqua after years of Bromine. My light cover fell apart, the plastic around my light cover looks tired, and I'm worried that the Baqua might be eating the plastic inside my tub - should I be concerned? Thanks! cosmos
Could very well be so. How old is your tub? We've had the tub 7 or 8 years. Yikes - hope it's not true; just spent a wad on baqua chemicals. Hate to see the tub fall apart though. cos

Things have to be replaced but I doubt it has anything to do with the baquicil

IknewIwasright
There are two products, one is baquacil and the other baquaspa. Can anyone explain the difference to me as one is cheaper than the other.

Baquacil is a brand made for swimming pools and the peroxide (your sanitizer) and other chemicals are in dosages made for a pool. What ever you do do not add the Baquacil to your spa. Baquaspa is made in dosages for a spa and the chemicals are designed for a spa.
