This is a great priced tub. I like the deep seat lounge as well. Anyone have thoughts on this tub that would help me out? Also they use UV ozone rather then CD - does that make a difference?

Marquis sure seems to make a fine tub. The UV ozone is generally a cost-saving item a manufacturer uses to offer a popular 'extra' at a slightly lower cost. The UV bulb will need to be replaced in time - and can be rather expensive. Some units will go a couple of years before needing to be replaced - some units are now being offered which are low priced enough that you can toss the whole thing and buy new for about the same price as a bulb.

Some CD units also have a chip or chamber which needs to be replaced every year or so.

I sure would not make my buying decision based on the type of Ozone unit - you mention you like the depth and the seating. Those are important points. You said, "Deep seat lounge."

Be sure you wet test that. In my experience, lounge seating is the one area where you can't tell if it will be comfortable any other way than a wet test.

Great Advice Chas,

I would just add the 530 ultimate is a very good therapy tub, it offers great seating depths for people of different heights. The ozone unit is not a standard UV bulb type but rather a solid state unit that is vastly better than a typical UV bulb unit. It is "probably" the longest lasting unit used in spas today and requires no maintenance.
