Hi Mike,

there is a slew of info in posts below on Arctic. Tom is an excellent Arctic contact.

The one thing you'll find about this site, is that everyone here has their own specific brands loyality.

IMHO.... Arctic is a great Canadian company (well documented). All I can say is wet test, and you'll feel the difference :)

Myself, inlaws and brother in law all had arctics for about 5-8 years and they proved to be good tubs. I can recommend them with a clear conscience. Lots of insulation, reliable ( I had 1 leak in 7 years, that's it) and cheap to run in the winter.

Arctic makes a fine product, compare them to any of the top brands and you will find they are right in there as far as reliability and effieciency. I'm a little put off by the non lip over design and the confining seating. But other than that if you can get a good price they are comparable.

Yeah Artic is a great manufacturer. I thought Artic was started in Europe or UK or something. I think they have been around a little over 10 years.

As an Arctic Dealer for 8 years I believe the product is top of the line. They are very energy efficient, can be upgraded, last in the Colorado Rocky climate (Breckenridge and Vail, CO).

Let me know if you have any questions regarding Arctic Spas.

Roger, the new Coyote line and the Forever Flex cabinets for Arctic have a lip-over with straight sides (no rails). Only the Arctic western clear cedar cabinet uses top and bottom rails.

Note: The links go to photos if anyone wants to have a look. This is not intended to advertise our product but to illustrate the concept Roger raised. If anyone objects please let the moderators know so the links can be removed.

Yea I looked at them before Tom. I like what your getting to in design. As Arctic progresses as a company they seem to conform to what is said from the end users....good thing. Now if you could just get some more open seating molds and figure out how to make that gorgeous red cedar a lip over......
