Chicken mom Posted January 16 Author Report Posted January 16 I’m in Illinois. I need to how a balboa vz510sz is wired for 1 two speed 240 pump, 1 120 blower 1 240 ozonater light and controller and 1 240 heater. Quote
Spa Board Doctor Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 White jumper wires for each output receptacle on the board go to either "RED AC" for 240V output or "WHITE AC" for 120V output. There are multiple male spade terminals on the board at "RED/WHITE AC", any open spades can be used. Quote
Chicken mom Posted January 20 Author Report Posted January 20 What’s the difference between the white jumper wire and the black jumper wire? Quote
CanadianSpaTech Posted January 21 Report Posted January 21 The Table 1 on the schematic tells you where each white wire goes "From" and "to" It tells you where the white wire goes for each component and also what voltage the component is. Quote
Chicken mom Posted January 21 Author Report Posted January 21 I posted pics of what I got going on now. The new spa controller is not the same as the old one.it’s horribly confusing. There’s another board on the heater. I can follow the cover instructions but it’s not working. At first my jets were working but the lights and controller and heater were not. Then my breaker snapped when I redid the old wireing config with the dip switches. So I tested my fuses and there ok but now I have nothing. The breaker is not tripping but not even a click when I turn it on.how do I connect the heater this model? Quote

Please find a way to repost the photos so they are not upside down... getting a sore neck...lol 14 hours ago, Chicken mom said: There’s another board on the heater Usually for a secondary pump but not always used and comes with the pack needed or not. 14 hours ago, Chicken mom said: .how do I connect the heater this model? The heater element sits inside the chrome tube. The element gets it's power from the board through the 2 copper tabs. If you turn the breaker on and it trips try and disconnect the heater element. See below. If you disconnect it and the breaker does not trip replace the heater element. Post photos (right side up) showing all the connections and wiring so we can see how you have it set up Quote
