poetical Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 Hi, had everything working on my Hot Springs Soveriegn today after lots of trouble shooting. Spa was heating, all pumps working. I turned off power to fit a control head and fascia alignment issue and when turning back on had the dreaded red flashing d10 on the relay board. The heater relay no longer clicks on initiation. Jets relay clicks on an off a bit should. i have checked for air locks, checked resistance for heater (get 40ohms and nothing grounded to case). This is a brand new board, brand new control iq2020 also. Brand new head and 6 month old aux. Surely the relay couldn’t fail so soon?? Unlike the old board they are soldered on so not easy to replace or test. 240v going to heater when powered, but no amp draw - this part a bit puzzling given no relay clicking on or off. Any advice or testing before I return under warranty? It was working just an hour ago! Quote
Spa Board Doctor Posted January 15 Report Posted January 15 These boards, even brand new out of the box, are hit an miss as to whether they will work or not. There is a board repair option that works in most cases however, if it's brand new and under warranty, I'd return and hope you get a good one next time. Quote
