Tom W Posted November 29, 2024 Report Posted November 29, 2024 I have good power at the spa from the breaker (120v on 2 legs) and the top unit turns on with no error codes. When I try to turn on the jets, I can hear the relay click over, same when turning them off but no action from the pump, I pulled the fuses and they are good. I have good power and ground at the Pump Connector, I replaced the pump and I'm still experiencing the same issue. I am truly at a loss... Any guidance is appreciated. Quote

In one speed you will get power white to red and in the other speed white to black or visa veras depending on what wire is high and what wire is low. Do you get correct power going to the pump? If you do it is a pump issue. You installed a new pump are you sure it is wired correct? If you don't get correct power off the board in each speed you might have a bad relay on the board. Post photos of the board and the schematic on the inside cover so we can see what you have. Post photos of the white sticker on the pump motor and of how it is wired up Quote
Tom W Posted December 4, 2024 Author Report Posted December 4, 2024 Sorry for the late response, my work schedule is weird. Finally got back to verifying the voltages coming into the Circuit board, ( long story ) I hate intermittent issues, both legs read 120v, so I move on to the new motor, all good there, (I took pics before I disconnected the old one... Chinese blueprint). I go back to recheck fuses and they're good.. for some reason I decide to check the incoming legs again, 1 leg reads 120v and the over reads 0v... wtf... Check line voltage into the spa breaker on the back porch, 1 leg has 120v and the other 0v, move the the main breaker box and same... Took me 3 hours and 56 miles to hunt down an Eaton CH 40 amp CB. Removed and replaced and we have life. Thanks for being responsive and patient with your customers. 1 Quote
