Euphanasia Posted November 4, 2024 Report Posted November 4, 2024 Fixing a cracked flex line on a Tiger River Bengal. I removed all insulation from one corner. The leak was significant, and much of the "bread" insulation in that area was soaked. There's still a lot of moisture in area surrounding the shell I will be putting a coat of closed cell foam over the repair for insulation, but I would prefer to leave things open until the weather warms up and the underside dries out. Can the shell handle the weight of water and people without the full insulation? Quote

Repack with rock wool insulation. 4 hours ago, Euphanasia said: Can the shell handle the weight of water and people without the full insulation? Yes, A lot of spas use perimeter insulation. Once the spa is back up to temp it should dry out.. eventually Quote

I'm hoping I can get it to dry out by the time summer gets here. Quote
