Niktink
After a harsh winter i have turned back on my baboa hot tub. The screen is blank however still backlit. The tub did heat up, i used for a week but noticed a leak so turned off to fix the leak. Once done i turned back on. Screen was still blank but this time it hasnt heated up. CanadianSpaTech
High fail rate on those topsides
Niktink
So would you say it is just a new panel needed
CanadianSpaTech
Likely yes if you have no led numbers showing. Should still heat though. Pop the topside out and the part number is on the underside. Make sure to match the button configuration when ordering.
Niktink
I assuming its stuck in sleep mode
CanadianSpaTech
In sleep it will only get to 80 degrees. There may be a setting on the circuit board to change the topside mode settings from SL/ECN/ST to just Standard mode. Then if the buttons still work you would be able to press the up button a bunch of times and see it you can get it up to 104 and then each down temp button press will equal 1 degree. Not perfect but might work for now. Post picks of circuit board and the schematic on the inside cover and we can see if there is a "dip" switch setting you can make to get it to ST mode only. Niktink
So where would i find the switches. I can see i can put it in standard mode. Just dont know where to locate the switches. Thank you for your time btw
CanadianSpaTech
Little red box just below where the light connects to the board. Turn power off to move switch A7 to up position. A1 is on left end A10 is on right end
Niktink
Hi, me again. i ordered the new panel and overlay. Plugged in and does the same. (Blank screen yet blacklight works). Could it be a fuse somewhere stopping information being sent to screen?
cranbiz
There are 2 fuses to check. The 1/8th amp (F2) and the 3 amp (F5) fuses.
