Ben M
Hi all! I have a Sundance Marin 880 installed in December 2022. We are leaving home for most of the summer starting this weekend, and I have just fully drained the tub since I'll have no way of maintaining it while I'm away. Question is: even though the tub is empty, there is (I am guessing) some residual water left in the lines. My concern is that the water will stagnate and then when we turn the tub back on in a few months, the jets will push out lots of nastiness. I used the quick drain valve on the front - is there anything I need to do to completely remove water from the lines? Thanks! Ben
cranbiz
You will have stagnant water in the lines. Unless you blow out every jet and line, you can't avoid it.

So my follow up question is - how do i blow out the lines? I thought I wasn't supposed to turn the blower on with the tub being empty. cranbiz
External air source. You can use a shop vac that has a blower function or an air compressor.
nickrides
I'd get a shopvac and set it up to suck and then put the suction hose on each jet under you feel it running dry Nick
