TRev-13
Good evening, New to the forum and looking for a possible start point in running down a leak. When the spa is full, water will leak out until the very bottom of the top row of jet. I have not started digging in yet, but was thinking a broken hose of possible seal failure with a jet seal. Once the water reaches the bottoms of the jets in the top row, the water stops draining. 2004 Island Hot Tub. Cheers Trevor
CanadianSpaTech
Sounds like a seal failure. You will have to open up the panels and search for the wet spot then dig in to the foam to find it. For a jet leak I normally back off the large nut on the backside of the jet without cutting any lines and then push the jet forward and remove the old gasket. Clean up and silicone that was around the large nut at the back of the jet. I use marine grade silicone to reseal around where the old gasket seal was in the bather area and also around the large nut on the backside of the jet then re tighten the large nut. Good Luck and let us know what you find.
