Intermittent Remote Spa Side Issue

I have a Pentair Spa Side(IS4) remote located next to my in-ground spa & connected to a Pentair EasyTouch control panel. Today I noticed that none of the 4 buttons on the Spa Side were working. On the EasyTouch, I toggled the Spa Side setting to OFF; waited a few minutes: then switched it back to ON. Surprisingly, the Spa side buttons all worked fine.

I would appreciate any thoughts as to what the issue might be. Thank you so much.
