DIYironman
Greetings. friend gifted me their old J345 Jacuzzi, 2005 model. Well-kept, but it had been kicking the breaker before we had it moved, reason was unknown. Hired pros to move it in the snow (and they dropped it against the house but it appears to have not suffered any damage). took a while in freezing temps to get it wired. standard spa subpanel, GFCI, 6ga etc. Finally got a stretch of above freezing temps to fill it up a ways and fire it up. Once power goes on, it now it goes right into watchdog mode. Voltage reads 246 in all the right places, 15V across the J4 Y-Y wires (which does appear higher than the service manual indicates it should be, that doc gives a range of 12-14v) . I've disconnected several devices but it will not come out of watchdog mode. Hoping the circuit board didn't get jacked in the move. What else could be causing this? CanadianSpaTech
First... power off and remove the filters then disconnect the heater from the circuit board. Then try and see if it will run.
