Allwet Posted November 25, 2022 Report Share Posted November 25, 2022 I have a master spa clarity tub that’s only a few years old, it has the teleweir style of floating filter assembly. The threaded part inside at the bottom of the assembly that the filters screw on to is loose and not perfectly straight up and down. Because of this, when my filter is screwed on, it leans to the side, nearly touching the inner wall of the filter assembly tube. When the floating skimmer is inserted into the tube, it often gets pinched by the filter, resulting in it not getting sucked down into the water when the pumps are on. This starves the pumps of water which is obviously a bad thing. I can push it down for normal operation, but it feels like a burnt out pump waiting to happen. Can this threaded fitting be tightened somehow or am I looking at swapping out the entire teleweir assembly just to fix this issue?
