mikeey169
Plumbing question Hello I have a tiger river bengal model m I've just replaced the heater and there is a small flexible hose that goes from the heater to under the middle of the unit. I'm assuming this hose goes to the circulator port in the middle of the tub floor, I replaced about a foot of this hose coming off the heater and now have a water leak coming from that hose under the unit where I cannot see it. Has anyone experienced this before? Does anyone know how to change this hose completely? How bad of a job it will be? Thank you in advance Mike. RDspaguy
Well Mike, you'll have to stand it up or block it up and go in from the bottom for that fitting. However, any leak behind the equipment bay wall will cause water to enter the equipment bay, usually from the lowest opening. So it may not be this at all. Remove side panels and check for other, higher leaks before going all gung-ho on it.
