foxleybob
Hello, new to this forum. I have a 5 seater hot tub, and it has a thick two part insulated cover on the top. I recently found (on seperate occasions) two snails inside it in the water. I have no idea how they got there. Can anyone help/advise me please? In Hot Water
Place empty cat food, or Tuna cans around the perimeter of the spa. Make sure the lip of the can is flush with the ground. Fill them with beer. The slugs and snails will be drawn to the sugars and yeast in the beer, slip in, and drown (what a way to go). I have had them on occasion and my theory is that they get in around the bumper that insulates the cover hinge area.
